About The Authors

   

A.J. Barghothi is completing his Ph.D. at the University of South Carolina. His dissertation, "State Constitutional Amendment Proposals in the Separation of Powers Framework: A Transaction-Cost Explanation," examines the use of state constitutional amendments to overturn state supreme court decisions. His research interests include American political institutions, state government and politics, judicial politics, legislative process and politics, and quantitative methods.
