Hall Wins the 2006 SPPQ Best Paper Award


State Politics and Policy Quarterly and the State Politics and Policy organized section of the American Political Science Association are proud to announce that a paper by Melinda Gann Hall of Michigan State University, "Mobilizing Voters in State Supreme Court Elections: Competition and Other Contextual Forces as Democratic Incentives," is the winner of the 2006 SPPQ Best Paper Award. The paper was presented at the 2006 State Politics and Policy Conference at Texas Tech University. The award selection committee consisted of Michael Martinez, University of Florida (chair); Michelle Barnello, Christopher Newport University; and Benjamin Highton, University of California, Davis.
